Once a promising recruit, Jim left the Purple Dragons after serving the minimal term to take over his father's grocery and provide for his family (two younger sisters and a baby brother), after losing both parents in quick succession. Now that his brother is old enough and has taken over the shop in Marsember, Jim has set out to prove his worth and continue his studies that were interrupted 18 years ago.
